Our nature

The Richecco vineyard lies in an area where sun and climate come together perfectly. The soil is rich in limestone, loam and loess, creating a unique combination of freshness, minerality and aromatic depth.

On our sandy, south facing slope, rich in limestone and minerals, the grapes ripen slowly. Thanks to the many hours of sunshine well into autumn, the Richecco vineyard offers ideal conditions for optimal ripeness and balance.

This results in grapes with freshness and aromatic power, and gives the wines their signature character: lively, fresh and elegant.

The place & winemaking

Chateau Richecco

Chateau Richecco forms the foundation for making the richest wines. Here we work with respect for the rhythm of nature, where modern techniques support the process but never take over.

On rich soil of limestone, loam and loess, the grapes develop their fresh, refined character. The microclimate ensures slow ripening and optimal balance. This is where the finesse of every Grand Cuvée begins.

Richecco winemakers

Craftsmanship is about control and precision. Through a slow and carefully controlled fermentation process, the purity of the grape is preserved while balance and elegance are refined.

Technology supports the process, character leads it.

The barrels

Ageing brings softness and depth. Depending on the style, either stainless steel or subtle oak ageing is selected, always with freshness and balance in mind.

A refined finish that slowly reveals itself.
