The vineyard

The origin of Richecco
lies in nature

Our nature

Our vineyard is located in a region where sun and climate come together perfectly. The soil is rich in limestone, clay, and loess, creating a unique combination of freshness, minerality, and aromatic depth.

On our south-facing sandy slopes, the grapes ripen slowly thanks to the many hours of sunshine well into autumn, ideal conditions for achieving optimal ripeness and balance.

Together, these elements create grapes with freshness and aromatic intensity, giving the wines their distinctive character: vibrant, refined, and elegant.

Soil

Chalk, loam, and loess impart minerality and structure to the wine.

Climate

A microclimate that ensures the slow, full ripening of every grape.

Craftsmanship

The place and winemaking

Weingut

The vineyard forms the foundation of Richecco. Here, we work in harmony with the rhythm of nature, where modern techniques support the process, but never overpower it.

Rooted in soil rich in limestone, clay, and loess, the grapes develop their fresh and refined character. The unique microclimate allows for slow ripening and optimal balance. This is where the finesse of every cuvée begins.

Winemaking

Craftsmanship is about control and precision. Through a slow and carefully controlled fermentation process, the purity of the grape is preserved while balance and elegance are refined.

Technology supports the process, character leads it.

The barrels

Ageing brings softness and depth. Depending on the style, either stainless steel or subtle oak ageing is selected, always with freshness and balance in mind.

A refined finish that slowly reveals itself.
